About

Ron Peters is a Seattle-based jazz guitarist whose melodic improvisation, sense for interplay, and intimate connection to the instrument was once underscored by Just Jazz Guitar Magazine as the mark of “unrestrained imagination.”

An alumnus of Berklee College of Music, Ron also studied privately with guitar legends Joe Pass, Ted Greene, and Mick Goodrick. Ron cut his teeth in the studios and bandstands New York City and Los Angeles before settling in Seattle. In his decades-long career, Ron has performed with The Manhattan Transfer, Chevy Chase, The Don Ellis Orchestra, and Pearl Django, among others.

A respected educator, Ron is a regular teacher at music workshops throughout the U.S. and Canada, and a private instructor with decades of experience.
